For leaders of nations and all entrusted with public responsibility—that they may govern with integrity and wisdom, placing the dignity of every person above politics, and seeking peace over power…Let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
For families wounded by conflict, silence, or misunderstanding—that they may rediscover the grace of forgiveness, the healing of honest words, and the miracle of love restored…Let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
For our nation in these divided times—that we may live as a people formed not just by freedom, but by fidelity to justice, truth, and the sacred worth of every life, born and unborn…Let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
For those who feel unworthy of God’s call—those burdened by failure, shame, or regret—that they may know the transforming power of Christ, who builds His Church not on strength but on surrendered hearts…Let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
For all who have died in faith—especially those who, like Paul, have fought the good fight, finished the race, and now await the crown of righteousness in the presence of God…Let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
For ourselves, gathered here—that we may not fear our flaws, but entrust them to the One who can turn every weakness into a witness, and make our lives a proclamation of the Gospel…Let us pray to the Lord.Lord, hear our prayer.
CELEBRANT:God of mercy and mission, You called Peter from the sea and Paul from the road—and You call us still. Take our prayers, imperfect though they are, and by Your grace, make of us what we could never become on our own. Through Christ our Lord.Amen.
